The Dark Matter hX Gen 2 UAVs have been in use all around the world since 2022 and follows the footstep of the Gen 1, launched in 2016. Being a hexacopter, this platform allows for safe control and landing of the system even if one motor were to fail, offering extra peace of mind.
Equipped with the Cube Autopilot, it benefits from its ecosystem and wide community constant and thorough testing, as well as ours.
Increased Safety
With 3 sets of IMU sensors, 2 GPS modules, improved navigation lighting & various drivetrain and ADS-B options, the aircraft has been intelligently engineered for safety, redundancy and peace of mind. The Dark Matter 2nd Generation can also be NDAA compliant and customised to meet local territorial regulations.
Optimised Performance
Our proven, modular designed, precision engineered carbon fibre airframe, combined with the newest generation of onboard flight controller and batteries have enabled us to deliver our most efficient flight times of up to 59 minutes. You can also hot-swap batteries. We offer flexibility with payloads, functions and GCS options while maintaining a best-in-class performance.

All Dark Matter Gen 2 aircraft are now RTK ready to help pilots achieve even greater levels of accuracy for photogrammetry and LiDAR missions.

As the value of payloads increases and safety and reliability are two of our major priorities, we have now integrated a second GPS module onto the aircraft providing more redundancy. This adds to the platform's six powerful motors
and dual batteries set-up.
ADS-B Options
ADS-B options are also available across the range, allowing the Remote Pilot, aircraft in the vicinity and local air traffic control to easily locate and track each other, further mitigating risks during the flight operations.
Great Visibility
Our aircraft is now more physically conspicuous by refining our navigation lighting to distribute the light better whilst maintaining overall brightness. Flashing green light and also GPS status lights for each GPS module all work together to ensure the 2nd generation can be easily spotted in all conditions.
