Clogworks has integrated a range of YellowScan scanners previously to the Dark Matter range of UAVs.
this year, during CES 2024, YellowScan unveiled the Navigator, their first bathymetric laser scanner developed in-house.
With a weight of only 3.7kg (battery weight excl.), it can be integrated to our Dark Matter hX Gen 2, with maximum payload of 6kg, and offer a great flight endurance for surveying missions.
The Gremsy quick release adaptor allows for an easy integration of these sensors and we also integrate smoothly the Lidar antenna with a quick release 3D printed solution.
The great combination of the Dark Matter hX Gen 2 and Navigator was displayed at Oceanology International in London Excel on March 12-14, 2024.
Our hexacopter combined with the Navigator payload allows you to conduct bathymetric measurements in shallow waters, while ensuring continuity between underwater points and the surrounding terrain.
With a 44-degree field of view, the maximum angle for a green laser to perform underwater, this green Lidar can be flown at up to 100m AGL.
Besides, the Navigator features an embedded camera (global shutter) that can be used for colorization purposes.
